Reception, Year 1 & Year 2: £3,510
Fees include tuition, books and other school materials such as recorders or book bags, pupil accident insurance and all outings. Individual piano, violin and cello lessons can be arranged with peripatetic music teachers and are billed directly by these teachers.
Fees are normally set annually, and we always aim to keep rises as modest as possible while enabling us to sustain the school’s ability to achieve its excellent results. By far the greatest proportion of fees goes towards staff costs. Indeed, staff costs account for about 75% of our total operating costs (all costs excluding interest expense, depreciation and tax, and of course before capital expenditure), and about 80% of staff costs are for staff directly working with the children; only about 20% of staff costs are to cover management, admissions, administration and bursary costs. So, in financial terms, parents are primarily paying for a great staff:pupil ratio of highly dedicated educators who deliver highly individualised education.
